Visualising the user-to-user Internet with RIPE Atlas

This presentation will show a new feature of the IXP country jedi based on RIPE Atlas data. We're looking at networks with more than 1% of a country's Internet user population. We then measure the path between them and infer if these networks are directly connected or not. With this information we create visualisations of the user-to-user Internet per country, which includes paths through transit
providers and IXPs.

CEE Peering Days is an international conference of experts directed at network engineers, peering coordinators, internet providers, cloud administrators and data centre operators in the Central and Eastern European Region.

Since 2013 the conference regularly attracts around 200 participants and has been continuously supported by sponsors from the Telecommunication and IT community from across Europe.

The programme combines technical workshops with professional presentations and offers plenty of time and space for social networking and bilateral talks.

The conference in 2018 is planned as a two-day event at the Hotel NH nhow Berlin and will include a social evening in the centre of Berlin on 6th March.

The conference will be hosted by NIX.CZ, VIX.at and BIX.hu. This year with local support from BCIX.
